hey everyone!
saw the movie it was awsome! but anyway I have to write an essay for school and we can write it on a tv show and the characters in them. I am of course going to do firefly. I have to compare and contrast two characters, their simalarites and differences. any ideas who i should compare and contrast? thanx. Ill post my essay on here after I write it. please help give me so ideas. I was thinking Jayne and mal or wash and zoe. Help please!

Hey there,
I may be demented, but this sounds like a fun assignment. Almost makes me miss being in school...almost! Personally, I would take a chance and get away from something easy like comparing someone to Mal. Especially if your teacher is a fan of the show. It would be more interesting and challenging to compare someone else. I'd probably go with Zoe and Kaylee since they are my favorites. Although an interesting one would be Zoe and Inara (Hard core soldier vs. Professional companion. Both sensual, both effective at what they do, both with intense -albeit different- feelings towards Mal, etc.) Book and Jayne would interesting too although Book is such a mystery that would it be hard. Kaylee/River, seeing as they are friends would be a good one. You could discuss their different types of innocence.

Damn, I am rambling and fear I could go on forever. I'll stop now. Good luck with your essay!
