One day left on the fireflyfans.com countdown. I can't believe the day's finally here. After the show ended in 2002, who'da thunk it. All the anticipation since January of 2004 is about to pay off.

It seems like I've been coming here a long time. I recall the when there was no Serenity countdown. Then the meter began ticking for the April release at around 200 days. Then it was bumped up to nearly 400 days when the delay to september 30 was announced.

I say all that because the large countdown numbers sort of became a regular thing in my daily routine. Now to see it set at "1 day remaining" makes me tremble.

Do not fear me. Ours is a peaceful race, and we must live in harmony.
