I probably shouldn't watch them but I am desperate for my Firefly fix. So, I have been recording the SciFi Channel's re-showings of Firefly and then fast-forwarding to the special clips from Serenity.

My question, for anyone who has seen the preview version of Serenity, is how spoilerly are these clips? And, do they take place at the beginning, middle, or end of the movie?

Select to view spoiler:

The first clip was a River fight scence, similar to the trailer. The second clip was Mal, in disguise, meeting Inara. Last week's was the villian speaking to Mal and Inara in the same setting. I am being a bit vague because this is my first time with the spoiler command and I may make a mistake.

.

Thanks for any help.

Eh, they're a little spoilery, but not so much as to give away important plot points or major surprises. Most of the clips shows so far are towards the first half of the film. I don't think Scifi would show anything from the latter half of the movie as there would be no way to hide some major plot spoilers.

well they are clips of the BDM and therefore spoilery,
but they are all from the BEGINNING of the movie
and therefore part of the set-up
NOT part of the pay off...
purests will probably want to avoid them,
but I'm pretty sure they are Joss approved.

ie: they are NOT like Fox TV showing promos of River in the cryo box!
