I just had to share this as I was so very excited and shocked. I manage a restaurant that is next to a theatre. Well, their employees come in often to eat. I was up front organizing stock, so I couldn't see the person who was talking to my hostess at first. When I stood up and saw that he was wearing a Black T-shirt with the Official Serenity Logo on it I was taken aback. It took me a minute to realize he was from the theatre and wearing the T-shirt as a promotion for the movie, so I immediately started asking if he was excited to see it and other Serenity crazy fan like stuff. It wasn't until he complained that the shirt only had the logo on it, and he would have liked one with "the girl on it from the poster" that I realized he knew absolutely nothing about Firefly or Serenity. But it didn't dampen my excitement over seeing someone in the world outside of the Firefly ‘verse wearing the logo I love. I told him he'd love the movie and suggested he check out the show it stemmed from (he also didn't know it started out as a cancelled show) either on Sci-fi or on DVD before he saw it.

So my question to any of you is: As it appears Universal is now producing Serenity logo T-shirts at least for the theatres, are they being sold anywhere else to the public? Unfortunately I've been a bit out of the loop recently due to my crazy busy schedule so I'm a little behind on such things as merchandizing.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I went to see The Brothers Grimm yesterday, and not only did I not see anyone wearing a Serenity shirt, there was no Serenity poster anywhere (i walked through the entire multiplex to be sure), plus no trailer in the auditorium I was in. Disappointed.

ARCPLAYER

I converted one of my co-workers last year. He has a second job as a projectionist in Logan, Utah. He ofered to sell me the T-shirt for $25. Playing cool (heart in throat) I said "no thanks I can get one on the internet". He then offers to throw in the summer-nathan poster. Now we're getting somewhere. I offer the dvd set instead. He accepts. I have the shirt and poster, and I ordered a brand new set from Deep Discount DVD.
I also ordered Cleopatra 2525, and a new anime.
Life is good.
