I'm still grinning like a loon after last night Serenity screening in Birmingham.

All I can say is *wow*, I had my doubts that the feeling of the series would translate into a feature length format but I am glad to say I was wrong! Joss has still got it, and I'm now convinced that he could have pulled it off even if his medium was 'shadow puppet theatre' ( but if you read this Joss, please don't :-) )

Oh, and we had a shiny surprise at the end of the film, turns out that Nathan and Morena were sitting in the front row the whole time!

Thanks again to Joss and Universal for pulling Serenity out of the ashes of Fox's pyre, and for giving the UK and Birmingham some cast member love!
