Firefly was one of that series that kept being mentioned as a "must see", first heard about it in a community of another sci-fi show that also got cancelled, see there is a thing about well written, mature and inspired work....mainstream does not like it.
Anyway yesterday I bought the Firefly DVD and as I write this I have just finished watching the last episode, I simply could not let it be...one episode, and another...and it's day...and another ep, and it's over. "Shall we go again?”
My grasp of the English language fails me so I’ll just say "Thank You".

It's great to have you here. Please explore the site some and get comfortable. There are some truly amazing things archived in the Blue Sun Room, with more coming in everyday. And there are tons of good discussion threads archived, too.

As you take a breather from your FF marathon

, you might start having thoughts/questions/theories about the storylines and characters that you want to discuss. Please share those thoughts with us. I love hearing what people new to the show think about the big mysteries and the subtle details of FF.

And I agree that the show just gets better with repeated viewing and the commentaries are very much worth watching, too.

Anyway, welcome to the site and to the fandom. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of this community as I do.

Mmmmm, Firefly marathon! IMO, the best way to convert one to a Browncoat. The same method worked on my sister...she saw Serenity one afternoon, and I awoke on the couch 12 hours late at 3 AM as she was finishing Objects in Space.

Welcome to the fanbase! I recently gushed about how amazing this fandom is in a thread over at serenitymovie.com, and I'm positive you'll feel welcome here! We're a friendly, intelligent, rather snarky bunch...welcome to one of the best fandoms in the 'verse.
