The Orlando Premiere Shindig website has been updated with new information. Hotel (including reservations link), Theater, and event info are now available, as well as links to some of our favorite places. We're still planning, so new content will be added as we go.

Good comment. As soon as times are available, we'll post them. We're still about 2 months out, the theater doesn't have times available yet. We're planning on having the showing that's closest to 7 or 8 pm be the main one.

Also, we've heard the theater will have a Thursday 12:01 am showing... I know some of us will be there for that one too.

The lobby activities will start sometime in the early afternoon and go all the way through to the showing.

Since you're an Orlando browncoat, would you like to volunteer to help out with the planning?? http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/BDM_Shindig_Orlando/

There will be a nominal fee for the after party. But it will depend on how many folks RSVP, etc. More details on that as the date approaches. So this Orlandoan missed the Tampa screening. I definately want to go to the Orlando shindig and movie. I feel like the only browncoat who hasn't seen the movie!

No I missed it too. My bud and i would've made it too if it wasn't for our classes.

I'll have to see how I can attend the Orlando premire. I have friends who wants to see the movie, but I dunno on those who are actually willing to hang out with browncoats...there's a good possibily on someone I recently met, but I dunno.

*___* Sugguestions or solutions welcomed.

PS. What are the times for the premire? i have a class that ends at 6:15 on thursday (friday I'm free from classes, but I'm ok with missing a larp session that day to go to the premire) and I'm in Sarasota so it'll take up to 4 hrs just to get to Orlando.
