The ONLY reason I went to Best Buy to pick up the new Battlestar Galactica Season 1 DVD set was for the Serenity DVD that came with it. There's 3 short featurettes, about 3 minutes each, about the movie, on the set, and the fans.

Lots of footage that I personally have not seen, including behind the scenes stuff and footage from the preview screenings (the fans) and Comic Con 2004.

Can't wait for 09/30/05.

I like BSG, but not enough to buy the DVDs.

Argh. I wasn't planning on buying the set sice I recorded the broadcast episodes (am I the only one that prefers the U.S. theme music?), but now...how can I resist anything that has to do with Serenity?

Gee, I hadn't noticed that there was different music. . . . I watched first season off British tv (via torrent files) but am watching 2nd off SciFi. What's the difference, music-wise?

It's mainly the opening theme music. The second season went with the British version.

Oh, and I did pick up the Serenity preview disc today. It's a great follow-up to the DVD set's "Here's How it Was". It's pretty cool they threw in BSG's Season 1 as an extra...
