Go see Alan Tudyk on Broadway!

Hello people. I'm writing in about Spamalot, the Broadway musical which now has Alan Tudyk as one of its biggest attractions.

I know that a posting was put up to notify people here about Alan joining Spamalot, but you really have to go to the show to appreciate his addition to the musical. Firefly certainly gave Alan some great jokes, but I had wondered in the past if that was more just the fast-witted humor of Whedon's scripts.

Well, now I have the answer. And I bet that once you've seen Alan play Sir Lancelot, the French Taunter, the Knight of Ni, and Tim the Enchanter (whew), you'll be laughing like crazy. I mean, he gets to say "I fart in your general direction!"

People who have watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you know what I'm talking about. For the rest of you, you don't have to see the movie to appreciate the humor of Spamalot, although you should definitely rent the movie as well!

Suffice it to say, I found Spamalot to be a great deal of fun, largely due to Alan's performance, as well as some great work from Tim Curry, David Hyde-Pierce and the rest of the cast. Turns out, some other TV actors are more funny off of the tube.

I'm not sure how long Alan will be with the show, so come to New York City to check it out!
(And, no, I do not work for the theater company, I'm just on a comedic high of sorts, heh)
