I was wrong! No July 29th date on trailer!

Well, I was wrong. I finally talked the theatre manager of the Marquee Theatre in Huntington, WV into watching the Serenity trailer before Batman begins. He called me just now to say he did NOT see any date attached to the Serenity trailer.

I do not know why my friend and whoever wrote Whedonesque thought they saw the 7/29 date attached. I apologize profusely if this thread has caused any problems. But I did try my best to verify the date and reported all updates I had as soon as I found out, for whatever that's worth.

I will now sheepishly disappear for about 2 months. I'll see you guys at DragonCon, and then at the BDM.

Oh, don't be so hard on yourself! I think we'll all survive until 30 September.

I was a bit sceptical myself, it seemed too soon a date to be true. And I have to say I'm a bit relieved since I'd made all kinds of plans for the summer and the NCBDMPP. It would have been a pain to try and change everything around.

So, I hope you'll reconsider going into hiding?

Thank you all for your kindness. Browncoats are the best. As it turns out, I am going out of town for the summer. It is a convenient time to just lay low for a while, and reflect on the virtues of silence. But I'll be back in September!
