This just had to be for FF fans!

In last night's episode Adam's character tries to get an assignment to infiltrate a biker gang. His boss cuts him off saying "You're not going to grow a mustache!" Chastened, Adam plaintively asks "Goatee?" You know, like Jayne's!
Also he was momentarily seen wearing the dreaded blue gloves.

Two blue glove hands are in the first episode, too.

Yeah, I know. Are those standard FBI gloves or are they just tweaking us Browncoats?

I caught the refrence myself and wondered if it were intentional, but I think the gloves were simply because they're standard equiptment for all forensic units.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Tim Minear would start off every episode of TI with a Firefly reference. There's been one in the very first scene of each episode, so far. Want to bet that next week he makes it 3 for 3?

Firefly fans need to start watching this show. It's another great Tim Minear show that's getting terrible ratings in spite of (or probably because of) its quality. Unless we do something to get the ratings up, TI will end up like Firefly and Wonderfalls, where we have this great, but short, dvd set and no more show!

Yes, it's already been mentioned that there will be a Buffy/Angel/Firefly reference in next week's episode that we should be watching out for.

As for the show, because of the people working on it, it has the potential to be very good. However, the first two episodes have been pretty average, and to a lot of viewers might not be any different than all the other cop/detective shows out there. They need to do something to separate it from the pack, and I believe they can, but it hasn't happened yet and I hope they don't get cancelled before it works itself out.
