Hey. I was watching "Shindig" the other day with the commentary, and I heard Morena tell us how Zoe's necklace represents her love for Wash...or their relationship or whatever she said. But what I also noticed the other day, was in the flashback scene in "Out of Gas" when Zoe and the Capt. first meet Wash, Zoe was wearing the necklace...so, was this just a mistake?

Maybe she already had the necklace and after they got married she decided that it would symbolise her marriage, much like some women have antique rings that they then use as wedding rings.

That or they just bodged up.

I'd read that theory too and noticed the same thing when I watched Out of Gas.

I noticed that, too, and I just think it's a continuity error. Like Mal's browncoat in Serenity. There's a scene before Patience shoots him that the sleeve is sown, but then it's not and then he gets shot and in the Train Job it's sewn up again.
But the necklace bugs me and I think that if they re-release the DVDs they should CGI it out or something in Out of Gas.

ZEEK

I always just sorta figured it was the costume designer day dreaming and making up stories to make their job seem more interesting. She had all these theories about things that really weren't cannon at all. That's my reasoning behind all of it.
