WHEDONVERSE PROJECT NEWSLETTER
April 28, 2005

RAFFLE TO WIN VENGEANCE

From now until May 14th, every $5 you donate to the Multimedia Project will automatically enter you into the raffle drawing to win a limited edition Book of Vengeance action figure set valued at $50. The set includes Anya, her demon alter ego Anyanka, and her Vengeance Demon mentor D'Hoffryn.

Each donation will be assigned a number based on the order in which it was received and the winning number will be chosen at random. You'll be assigned a number for each $5 of your contribution. For example, if you donate $20 you will be assigned 4 raffle numbers in sequential order.

The recipient of the prize will be announced on May 19th, a date that will not fade away in the minds of "Angel" fans as it marks the anniversary of the finale of the series. Organizers of the Project thought at least one fan should be able to say on that day: "Vengeance is mine!"

So far, the raffle has been a great success with one library's donation complete and another donation near at hand!

VERSE HEADED TO CHATTANOOGA

An order has been placed on behalf of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Public Library for a set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer seasons 1-7, Angel seasons 1-5 and Firefly thanks to fans generous donations!

Amazon will be sending the order in three separate shipments with the first package arriving in early-May, the second in mid-May and the last package arriving in mid-July.

The library would love to have even more of these DVDs, so if you would like to donate to them directly, please ship them to this address:

Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library
Attn: David Clapp, Director
1001 Broad Street
Chattanooga, TN 37402

The Delton District Library in Michigan may be versed soon too!

VANCOUVER SAYS THANKS

The Project got a letter yesterday from the Vancouver Public Library where we previously donated seven copies of Firefly in appreciation of Jewel Staite. Here are some excerpts from the letter:

"This kind donation will be a welcome addition to the Library's collection and will most certainly be enjoyed by the patrons."

"On behalf fo the Vancouver Public Library Board, Management, staff and patrons thank you for you generosity"

Sincerely,
Pat Whitney
City Librarian

SHOP AT AMAZON AND SUPPORT WHEDONVERSE

If you're going to buy something from Amazon.com, please consider clicking on the Amazon link from the Whedonverse.org website before making your purchase. That way, the Multimedia Project will receive a small percentage of the proceeds, which we will then use to buy more DVDs for public libraries and other charitable organizations that
have requested assistance in adding them to their collections.

Last quarter, the Multimedia Project earned $260.31 from Amazon! We'll add this amount to our financial report as soon as the funds clear the bank. Thanks for shopping!

MORE SURPRISES

Stayed tuned for an upcoming give-away. Here's a hint: thought bubbles.

THANKS!

As always, I want to thank everyone for being supportive and helping us in keeping this project going.
