I just saw the premier of Family Guy and Firefly Gets mentioned. Actually lots of really good Fox shows get mentioned.... I nearly freaked when I heard him say Firefly...

I was enraged actually... Peter walks in the door and says "bad news we've been cancelled" - His family responds with comments of being upset and Peter says "FOX has to make room for other shows like..." -then goes on to start listing every, EVERY show that FOX has cancelled. He then says, "but if all of those shows don't work out, we might have a shot."

I would also be surprised if that segment (which FOX.com has running as an advertisement) appears in the context of the first new show... the promo had horrible animation of repeating the same four frames with each cancelled show.

Family Guy has never been a funny show... and the fact that FOX is bringing them back just shows how determined FOX is to nudge Arrested Development and 24 off of their fine prime time schedule of just pure shit.

THE NAMES: the promo also made mention of Wonderfalls, Dark Angel, Greg The Bunny, and Action... the rest was a serious wake up call to FOX of "What the hell are you trying to show people?"
