Some time back there was a thread (or several) on which we all put our favorite good TV shows. I mentioned "The New Yankee Workshop" with Norm Abram.

ZERO RESPONSE.

This Saturday on that show Norm made up a wooden sign to go on a locker box for (presumably) his sailboat.

The boat's name?

SERENITY

I told you all "The New Yankee Workshop" was great, but nooooo....

Actually, I think Norm's had his boat a while. It could well be that Joss got the idea for his ship from Norm.

This is Norm Abram. I used to watch his show as a kid, until I started to develop the Boston accent and my parents couldn't tell when I was saying "party" or "potty"
