If Vin Diesel's "The Pacifier" can top the box office.... I'm pretty sure we can do what we need to do to make our movie a hit (and subsequently get a few more out of the process....).

Can you believe I only found out about this show in February of 2005?????

I'm such a loser.... Now I'm totally geeked for the movie and can't wait!

The first week is the hype from commersials(sp?) and such, it's the following weeks, after the folks who saw it the first week give personal reviews, that really tell success or failure.

I am always pleasantly surprised to see new fans still popping up after the show has been off the small screen for years.

Now get out there and convert your friends into Browncoats too! The more seats we fill at the movie, the better the chance of it being a success.

Pissed me off is what it did. I haven't seen any ads for the movie aside from a couple of theater trailers (granted, I haven't watched anything its probably audience would on TV...)

I thought it's HSX stock was overpriced so I shorted 10000 shares last week [I haven't done much on HSX except sit on my Serenity-related stock and a ton of funds, but I had too much cash on hand...]. Lost a few hundred k :(.

I thought The Jacket would do far better than it did, though. I mean, it DOES have Kiera Knightley in it. Plus, not grossing more than Alone in the Dark is just plain insulting.

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

The trailer for the Jacket is nothing short of disturbing -- that's why I didn't go see it.

I was surprised that 'Constantine' didn't do better, it was promoted a lot...
but then I had some friends who walked out of it
(which is always bad...it people pay and would still rather walk out! LOL)
So 'Pacifier' really doesn't have much competition....

too bad 'Serenity' wasn't released in theaters THIS week!
It would be number 1 with no trouble at all.
