Just something funny for my fellow Browncoats.

So as a diehard Browncoat we all pick up on the Chinese swearing. And few of us do it very well, but what's it really matter.

Most "other" folk just think it's weird & your fellow Browncoats or closest friends already know what your doing. So what's the harm....
unless your around someone who speaks Chinese and can tell what you are saying. If they can actually by your poor imitation of the poor interpretation of our BDH's and we all heard that they screw it up all the time.

I have a friend who has always told me, "You gotta quit doing that, cuz one of these days it's gonna bite you." "Yeah right!!!" I always say with a laugh. Until now!

My wife & I are hosting a 15 year old foreign exchange student from Korea. And she's also quite fluent in Chinese. So for the next 5 months. I have to just ........ keep my gorram mouth shut! Needless to say my friend is thoroughly enjoying the irony.

Easy enough to solve: get her hooked on the show. That way, even if your pronounciation stinks, she'll at least know what you're doing.

HELL'S KITTEN

Getting her hooked on the show would be a good start. Speaking from experience, it's been very helpful having native (Mandarin) speakers around to correct your pronunciation and grammar as well as help you with other colorful phrases.
