This excellent sci-fi series, which cleverly blends comedy and drama with a murder mystery, is a blast. “Resident Alien” is laugh-out-loud funny, full of heartfelt moments and, much like Harry himself, surprisingly sincere. It’s the first must-watch show of 2021.

The premise: Harry (Alan Tudyk) is an alien scientist who has crash landed on Earth and disguises himself as a human doctor. He has a secret mission to kill all humans, but when Harry begins to assimilate into his new world he starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his clandestine operation.

yep...got a reminder on my phone calendar so I can tune in tonight..hope he doesn't get killed off in the first episide (grin).....can't wait to see how long they take before the drop cameos of our crew, let alone Firefly eggs

oh... Alan... all I can say..the first 10 mins was pretty sad... at that point the wife was done and she was grateful that I was also ready to turn to something..anything...else...I think we made it to the "have to squeeze his brains in my hand.." moment...so many prototypes for a show like this to look to...casting, one-liners, etc...and...well...this won't be one for my livingroom theater...sadly.. I always like to support my firefly crew

on a serious note. Alan hardly aged at all! barely changed after almost 20 years since Firefly first came out back in 2002
