Don't be fooled. This is NOT a list of top-sellers. BlogPulse states that this is a list of "...Amazon.com products cited most often by bloggers in 2004." It's nice to know that Firefly was the 5th most mentioned product in blogs. Amazon.com ranks Firefly at #174. Hmmm... maybe I should buy another set to bump that number up.

Not entirely false--just an overstated list. If you go to Amazon's dvd section you will find a list of top sellers for the year. Firefly came in 45th on the list, which is quite extraordinary considering the length of time it's been out, and the number of shows/movies it topped on the list. It's not only selling well, but is holding a high sales position over a long span of time.

Okay, well this is good news as this indicates that the show has a "buzz" to it, much as "Garden State" has. Hopefully this will translate into box office but it is worth pointing out, we need rave reviews to really get some oomph behind it.
