Saying thanks to the people responsible for this site

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I wanted to say a thankyou to those who've created and maintain this site. Not to mention everyone who's posted interesting and groovy things on it ;-)

When I heard Joss was setting up a new show, I searched around on the net and found here. It provided me with background, news and previews, interesting gossip and feedback on episodes that I (being English) wasn't able to watch. And I'm extremely grateful because Firefly is a brilliant show and I wouldn't have wanted to miss out on it.

Fingers firmly crossed, I'm jumping the gun and Firefly (and Fireflyfans.com) will still be around for a while yet. But if not, thanks a bunch. It's been great.

I want to say a few things about the show. From the episodes we have seen, Firefly proved to me it could be the best Joss Whedon show given enough time. Coming from someone who would never miss a new installment of BtVS or Angel, that says a lot. The episodes are enormously well-written. All nine of Serenity's shipmates have been a delight to watch. I love the show's lingo and its study of the human condition. Honestly, I think Firefly was just too untested for the big four networks.
