At least South Korea doesn't capitulate to the terrorists.

Below is my own personal opinion. Take it as you like. Because this is a Liberal board for the most part, my statements will probably encite a few of you to gnash your teeth and pull at your hair and yearn for the days of Al Gore and Slick Willie.

After the beheading of Daniel Pearl, Nicholas Berg, Paul Johnson and soon to be Kim Sun-il, I am of the opinion that there is no hope of diplomacy with the Islamafascists. They only understand force. Every day, I hear people say "where is our compassion" or "Where is the love?", mine is slowly ebbing out the bottom of my shoes.

There was a hue and cry in the world over the "Prisoner" abuse in Iraq, yet no real substantive actionable Arab outcry over these civilian deaths. I find it intriguing that the Saudi Government was able to locate and kill the terrorists supposedly responsible for Paul Johnson's death, so quickly. When they had 3 days to locate them before his death. Enough is enough, I say. Time to fight fire with fire.

As a Saudi said on Al-Arabiya the other night, "The Americans don't understand that this is a war, what do they expect?". It's time we made them understand what it means to truly be at war and what they should expect.

There is only one solution. We should execute publicly, every single Taliban/Al Qaeda prisoner we have (We need to free some room up). No right to a trial. No right to a Judge or Jury. No compassion, no tissues, no last meal unless it's a pulled pork sandwich dripping in BBQ sauce. They kill one of ours (Americans or allies) we kill 1000 of theirs. Let's give them something to boo-hoo about. Hell, lets do the same as they do..claim it is all done in the name of Allah. After all, these cowards are as Muslim as Yasser Arafat is a peace activist.

I had hopes of a Middle Eastern Renaissance, their artistic culture is beyond reproach. Last night I finally came to the conclusion , there will be no renaissance. They don't want peace. They don't want prosperity. they only want war. Until the Muslim countries pull themselves out of the Stone Ages, they will always be overrated 3rd world countries. When their oil runs out, they will be naught but a large sandbox with no children to play in them.

God Bless the USA and all it's Allies.

I don't care who is President of the USA, as long as they keep National Security as their foremost objective. If my children can't live without the fear of some crazed Arab blowing him or herself up in our country, then we need to find someone who can make that happen.

I'm still a Browncoat, even if my opinion on real world matters differs from yours.

Those Fuckers over there killed Kim Sun-il too (no substantive proof yet, but all of the major news are reporting as thus along with Al-Jazeera). They've got a thing or two coming now, I don't think they know that other countries outside of the US are not as *kind* as US is with regards to war.

The South Koreans have had to deal with their North Korean sadistic bastards enough to not value the life of their enemies as well as the US do.

I agree with the sentiment, but disagree about the proper response.

We should publically give Al Qaeda members a fair trial, with all the trimmings, then convict them. Then a humane execution or imprisonment (for the one or two redeemable ones like those Taliban kids growing up at our base in Cuba).

Why should we do this? Why show kindness to the unkind and mercy to the merciless? Because we are better then they are.

If we can give fair trials to Nazis and Japanease war criminals. To the guardians of Andersonville or Captain Preston. We can give trials to anyone.

The outcome will be justice rather then vengence, though I think both can be satisfied.
