I actually noticed this when the story hit. I thought "Huh, they're not telling us who these people really are, because they don't want the bad publicity. It's a story, so they're carrying it, but they're covering up a fairly obvious detail here."

But I also find myself asking Is it relevant? I know, I am also not a believer in coincidence, but I can't find a tie it. It seems unlikely to me that this was agenda related. I guess it has had the effect of removing him from the post, he has now flown back home. Sometimes I wonder if families are killed for this sort of reason, but without information to the contrary, it's hard to find doubt in the story that she killed them herself. I mean, it's going to be a tough one to get through a straight up trial if she didn't, and it was a hit. I would think a hitman would take out the whole family, but then I suppose you'd need a perp. My temptation is to think that she's guilty as charged, because no one would risk a courtroom session where she's not. But if she is guilty, what's the tie in? Some strange drug use issue? It's a very peculiar thing to do, it's clearly a premeditated double murder. She waiting until he shipped out, and then killed the kids, resulting in him coming back home.

I can't really make sense of it. I confess to a double entendre with the thread. I was obviously snarking everyone on the issue which is running two 200+ post threads right now and eating people's energy like a vampire.

But also, I was posting the story because I thought it was noteworthy. Any thoughts?
