I've read back in the thread twice MD..... I'm just wondering what this comment meant. I'm not arguing you here. I'm just curious where it stemmed from and what you actually meant from it.

I might be wrong about this, but I feel that you're both opening yourselves up to way more personal scrutiny than you can bear, and certainly boatloads more BS than you would ever deserve in "real life".

Maybe I'm being presumptuous here thinking that because I "put it all out on the table" that others might feel the desire to do the same out of solidarity, and if that's true I appreciate it but wake up and realize the uber-judgemental "crowd" you're doing that in front of. These are the types of people who could agree with the next 100 things you say over the next year but would remember what they consider a "gaffe" when you make the mistake of speaking that 101st "truth" you believe and rake you over the coals for it.

Personally, I like both of you very much, at least from our online conversations. I also don't give a shit what any of them say about what that makes me in their eyes. Though I've never pulled out an actual bullwhip on myself, I've given myself a million mental lashes to my backside over the years that my hide is akin to that of a rhino.

Admittedly... I've actually grown to enjoy abuse. If that's what you truly desire when you post your actual selves here in the RWED, by no means don't let me stop you.

If you want understanding and/or forgiveness and/or want to get better... I can think of 100 other websites that would be much better for you.

You're both walking in the middle of the Lion's Den and willingly exposing your weakness as if you were gazelle sacrificing themselves for the survival of the herd.

I'll go ahead and answer the question of the thread to prove my point....

BEST THING: Somebody posted a pic of Johnny Depp playing a drugged out Hunter S. Thompson and said that is how they envisioned me.

WORST THING: Well.... Just ask Frem what he thinks about Hunter... I wouldn't give two shits about anything negative anybody else here had to say about him.

On top of that, I'm damn near close to a leaper in that if somebody agrees with me (particularly from the more Liberal standpoint) they never admit it, and there are a boatload of people that got my posts on speed-dial to rip me apart when they disagree with me. At this point, I would have to think that I was no longer "fair game" since nearly every single post that refutes any of my own beliefs is followed by claiming I'm a worthless drunk or that I should get help.

No wonder politicians distance themselves from certain friends once they're "in"....

Seriously Riona.... CTS.....

You're far to delicate to put yourself up on the altar to be judged here....

I have no doubt that you'd both be able to be strong when arguing your own political views. Please don't ask the horrible people in the RWED to judge you for the whole world to see.
