Also, someone quoted you in the other thread, and what they quoted I feel is absolutely right on. About his "saving face". I'll have to go back and find it, but I know they attributed it to you.

Here it is, you picked up on it before I did, and I think it's very astute:

KPO, I'm afraid you're right. Once it's been proposed, others will take it up, sadly. Bet we see a spate of burnings around the country on 9/11.

I see the Westborough churchnuts (bless their screwed-up little hearts) already plan to, and the pastor has reversed himself (last I heard) and played the victim game...most likely he used the community center thing as a way to back out, ACTUALLY becuse of the government pressure he'd received, which just shows what a bully he is.
