The body of a woman missing since January was found Monday in the metal frame of a hotel bed, Memphis police said today. The room had been rented at least five times since her disappearance.

Sony Millbrook, 28, was found after a foul odor was reported coming from the room at Budget Lodge, 1533 E. Brooks. Her body was apparently stashed inside the metal box frame that sits directly on the floor. The box springs and mattress sit inside the metal frame.

The room had been cleaned by hotel staff numerous times since Millbrook was reported missing on Jan. 27 by her family when she didn’t pick up her children from school. The family checked the hotel where she had been living. The family said no one was in the room. The family returned to the room that day and Jan. 28 to box up and remove her personal items.

Actually it is the TV remote you have to be careful of. They never clean them. You don't want to know what inspectors have found on those things. The bodies I can handle.
