Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Bck in February of 2009, Nancy Pelosi was firm that Bush Administration lawbreakers should face prosecution. Last night she reiterated it:

I wouldn't mind that 'slippery slope', partly because I believe it ISN'T ONE. If they can impeach Clinton for "lying to Congress", the slope has already begun slipping. To not prosecute those who not only lied, but disregarded the law and trampled on the Constitution...well, what can I say?

Any administration which engages in the things they did deserves far more than prosecution; the GOP being in power is the ONLY reason they got away with it...well, that and their adeptness at propaganda and using fear to their own advantage...

...at which time, if they have done anything to deserve prosecution--anything REAL, not some piece of idiocy as was done to Clinton--I will be more than happy to say THEY should be prosecuted as well.

If they keep continuing those Bush policies they are presently, I will freely admit they should be censored, at the very least--if they COMMIT any of the things the Bush administration did, I'll condemn them and agree they should be prosecuted.

I'm not a die-hard Democrat; I'm not even a Democrat, I'm an Independent. My current feelings, as I've said before, stem out of the horrific things I watched happen, uncensored, not condemned, for the past eight years. Had those not happened, I would probably be less willing to hope for substantive change from the Obama administration. Right now, I'm still waiting...
