Oh, I'm sure they had most of it written in advance, or possibly two versions depending on outcome. And there were probably at least a few parts done ahead of time, but clearly the vast majority of the episode was put together in less than 24 hours, which is pretty cool. It's what those guys do, though, their commentaries generally have a few mentions of "The show was airing in two hours and we weren't done" or something along those lines. Crazy men, and funny as all hell.
