I watched the last half of JFK last night and it made me think about Mel Carnahan's plane crash.

Two deaths that seem to have been pushed under
the rug.

I swear, two military helicopters (in tandem) flew across the sky, bearing about SEE at about a half a mile south of the house, while I was looking at one of the links.

If I don't post at FFF.net again before the election, assume the worst.

The tale of the Silmarils is by far more interesting and more likely than all the conspiracy nonsense which clogs up the internet these days.

For every right wing conspiracy there's a left wing one to offset it. The paranoid meter just moves from right to left depending which side is in power.

What about Ron Brown? http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/RANCHO/CRASH/BROWN/brown.html

The problem is that folks go lookin for great grand conspiracies, and those are damn rare, you see.

What usually happens is 3-5 guys with a bug up their ass pulling some shit while the rest of the cogs in the machine just doing their jobs are completely clueless, or so apathetic they do not question what they are doing or why.

So like in any business, you have your office politics, your little cabals and cliques, and they all have their own little agendas, some in opposition to each other, some for personal gain, and some of it's just complete incompetence and slackerhood.

Now you start muliplying that by the scale, lack of oversight, and inefficiency of a Government, and things get flaky, sure.

But it's like this - just because a bunch of crabs on the beach march in lockstep does NOT mean that they are a hive mind, it just means that their thinking is so rudimentary and simple that presented with the same stimulus, they react the same way.

And so it is with Gov employees, a blend of rigid thinking, avarice, apathy and ambition causes them to react with the same instincts - lie, deny, cover your ass and stick it to the other guy.

And once you understand that, once you GET that concept, you realize that you're never dealing with some great grand all-encompassing conspiracy, you're dealing with a whole lot of puny little petty ones multiplied by greed, incompetence, each other and the power and secrecy of Government.

Those of you who work for large businesses see it around you every day - just imagine if some of those slackers and sandbaggers were in some way fully insulated from the consequences of their actions and mentally take that to it's logical conclusion.

That being said, to deny such crap goes on is every bit as blind and stupid as to consider it all connected - we've created a society that has over time, like a bonsai gardener, twisted and stunted our very humanity to the point where stuff like this is not only possible...

It becomes inevitable.

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it
