So . . .anybody else sittin' pretty in the North East? I'm looking out the window of the tenth story (where some way, some how, snow is actually collecting on the flat pane of apartment building glass) and out the quietest I've ever seen NYC. The street in Manhattan is, so help me, actually under snow and unplowed.

Fortunately I've got enough food to tide me over for a few days and, frankly, if you can't leave the house - well, no one can fault you for watching the entire series and Serenity back to back to back.

Anybody else temporarily residing on St.Albans?

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams

I'm living in N. Virginia and we got about a foot, maybe more. The first time in months we've had one and it's on bloody weekend!

"The people who made the show, and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."

America loves a winner!

I caught the morning news shows as the snow's falling. It's always fun the first day or so...and then it just gets old.

Y'all enjoy. It's just cold and windy down here in Dixie.

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

I had about a quarter inch of snow on my balcony. I bet there's not a bread or a milk to be hand in this town.

Oh, he's so full of manure, that man! We could lay him in the dirt and grow another one just like him.

I'm here near Boston and it's a complete white-out. We have over a foot already and it's supposed to keep going until 2am (it's just before noon now). So, we'll be watching more Firefly, I'm trolling the internet, looking around for more Firefly/Serenity stuff... could be worse!

Mal: "Well they tell you: never hit a man with a closed fist. But it is, on occasion, hilarious."

I'm in Jersey City, I've got a blizzard raging outside, over 1 1/2ft of snow on the ground already and it's still snowing. Will watch the Olympics later.

Just two inches so far up here, looks like only the coast is really getting it.
