I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan (which gets $$ from Saudi Arabia) and Turkiye created their own Mideast NATO-style pact. This signals a lack of confidence in the USA's ability to protect them. It also gives Trump a way out of going to war with Iran and Ansar Allah.

They're all Sunni nations, and this alliance is clearly about Iran and Ansar Allah Houthis in Yemen).

Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz and Ansar Allah controls the Bab el Mandeb strait into the Red Sea, which is the alternate route for the Straits of Hormuz.

Saudi Arabia apparently hasn't been able to export any oil, and being a "high spend" nation they're running out of $$. I wouldn't be surprised if the US is supporting Saudi Arabia with dollar swaps.

The oil closures have led to all kinds of chaos, not just in the Mideast, most notably in Japan. Apparently Japan, which is critically impacted bc it gets its oil from the ME, is having to offer higher yields on its bonds. This ruins the money creation process of borrowing JPY at low interest rates and investing in USD ag higher interest rates. IDK which institutions are running this trade, but I imagine hedge funds and major banks are involved and are screaming their heads off.

Pakistan conducted its first nuclear bomb test during Bill Clinton's time in 1998.

Pakistan and Saudi already had signed a recent document.
Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA) they already signed that in 2025 ...but it did nothing...and after Israel and the USA attacked Iran and then Iran attacked Saudi, the Pakistanis did nothing.
