I think this might be a North American date I dont think the Ainu in North Japan have one, I think Russia wanted the UN to do something in August and in Sweden Finland I think the celebration is February there is some mixed celebration as national day of New Zealand

My friends say that Oneida and Menominee do not celebrate or observe. And that Menominee do not have any Tribal Lands in Canada, but Oneida do.
