Quote:Signym, your either/or choice does not cover what the Pentagon is doing- SECOND So, you admit there IS a deep state, which does what IT wants to do irrespective of the President? That's an utterly silly interpretation of what I wrote. The "Deep State" complained about by Trump and his White House and Congressional Republicans are the long term employees who investigate financial crimes, the same people who are investigating Trump.
Quote: It has been clear that the "Deep State" Pentagon has the same motive today as it did since bombing cities in WWII: murdering 1 civilian for every 1 enemy soldier it kills and shrugging it all off as the physics of shock waves. With atom bombs the Pentagon can get the kill ratio up to 100 or even 1,000 civilians for every 1 dead enemy soldier. Such efficiency is a Deep part of the American way!- SECOND

Found any 'collusion' yet?You did not take my suggestion to hire an attorney, did you? But line (c) covers any crime that Mueller finds, even ones Trump does not want prosecuted: "If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters." If you recall, Paul Manafort was indicted for money laundering. You won't find the word launder anywhere in the order naming Mueller as Special Counsel. The laundering happened years before Trump started his campaign.

And that is one of the things that struck me about these claims: most weren't, or were only briefly, in the news. These are all significant items - things we need to know to understand which way our country is going. As a specific example, let's look at the very first claim - 2.4 million new jobs, with 200,000 manufacturing jobs. During the Obama administration, all new jobs were service jobs, part-time jobs, temp jobs, and 'gig' jobs. The economy lost overall 300,00 manufacturing jobs. And during the Obama administration, real wages continued to fall. That background would make Trump's claims remarkable. But are they true? Given how much (none) coverage given to this topic by the MSM over the last year - we'll just have to guess.

They want the Special Counsel to stop work immediately. There will not be a trial. What will happen is that the voting population will shift one or two percent depending on what becomes public knowledge about the investigation. That slight shift will either give Democrats a slim majority in the Senate or Trump will be reelected for another 4 years. For all I know, Trump never laundered money for Russian mobsters investing in real estate and Trump never cheated on his taxes and his soul is pure and without sin. But I know for sure that Trump acts like a guilty man every time he says anything about Mueller's investigation. He protests too much his innocence being tarnished by an unfair Mueller.

22181 12459 https://fred.stlouisfed.org/graph/?g=i747 Units: Thousands of Persons, Not Seasonally Adjusted Frequency: Monthly All Employees: Total Nonfarm, commonly known as Total Nonfarm Payroll, is a measure of the number of U.S. workers in the economy that excludes proprietors, private household employees, unpaid volunteers, farm employees, and the unincorporated self-employed. This measure accounts for approximately 80 percent of the workers who contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This measure provides useful insights into the current economic situation because it can represent the number of jobs added or lost in an economy. Increases in employment might indicate that businesses are hiring which might also suggest that businesses are growing. Additionally, those who are newly employed have increased their personal incomes, which means (all else constant) their disposable incomes have also increased, thus fostering further economic expansion. Generally, the U.S. labor force and levels of employment and unemployment are subject to fluctuations due to seasonal changes in weather, major holidays, and the opening and closing of schools. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) adjusts the data to offset the seasonal effects to show non-seasonal changes: for example, women's participation in the labor force; or a general decline in the number of employees, a possible indication of a downturn in the economy. To closely examine seasonal and non-seasonal changes, the BLS releases two monthly statistical measures: the seasonally adjusted All Employees: Total Nonfarm (PAYEMS) and All Employees: Total Nonfarm (PAYNSA), which is not seasonally adjusted. The series comes from the 'Current Employment Statistics (Establishment Survey).'
