I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.
Quote: I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump and they don't necessarily agree with him. They're not racist or redneck, they're actually pretty decent people and so after talking to a number of them I wanted to write this. Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of Ford Motor executives and said "if you close these factories as you're planning to do in Detroit and build them in Mexico, I'm going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobody's going to buy them." It was an amazing thing to see. No politician, Republican or Democrat, had ever said anything like that to these executives, and it was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin - the "Brexit" states. You live here in Ohio, you know what I'm talking about. Whether Trump means it or not, is kind of irrelevant because he's saying the things to people who are hurting, and that's why every beaten-down, nameless, forgotten working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump. He is the human Molotov Cocktail that they've been waiting for; the human hand grande that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them. And on November 8, although they lost their jobs, although they've been foreclose on by the bank, next came the divorce and now the wife and kids are gone, the car's been repoed, they haven't had a real vacation in years, they're stuck with the shitty Obamacare bronze plan where you can't even get a fucking percocet, they've essentially lost everything they had except one thing - the one thing that doesn't cost them a cent and is guaranteed to them by the American constitution: the right to vote. They might be penniless, they might be homeless, they might be fucked over and fucked up it doesn't matter, because it's equalized on that day - a millionaire has the same number of votes as the person without a job: one. And there's more of the former middle class than there are in the millionaire class. So on November 8 the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth, be handed a ballot, close the curtain, and take that lever or felt pen or touchscreen and put a big fucking X in the box by the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives: Donald J Trump. They see that the elite who ruined their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump. The media hates Trump, after they loved him and created him, and now hate. Thank you media: the enemy of my enemy is who I'm voting for on November 8. Yes, on November 8, you Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Blow, all the Blows get to go and blow up the whole goddamn system because it's your right. Trump's election is going to be the biggest fuck you ever recorded in human history and it will feel good.

Quote: I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms. If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it. If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car. if you speak of Trump at work you could get fired. On social media, almost every message I get from a Clinton supporter is a bullying type of message. They insult. They try to shame. They label. And obviously they threaten my livelihood. We know from Project Veritas that Clinton supporters tried to incite violence at Trump rallies. The media downplays it. We also know Clinton’s side hired paid trolls to bully online. You don’t hear much about that. Yesterday, by no coincidence, Huffington Post, Salon, and Daily Kos all published similar-sounding hit pieces on me, presumably to lower my influence. (That reason, plus jealousy, are the only reasons writers write about other writers.) Joe Biden said he wanted to take Trump behind the bleachers and beat him up. No one on Clinton’s side disavowed that call to violence because, I assume, they consider it justified hyperbole. Team Clinton has succeeded in perpetuating one of the greatest evils I have seen in my lifetime. Her side has branded Trump supporters (40%+ of voters) as Nazis, sexists, homophobes, racists, and a few other fighting words. Their argument is built on confirmation bias and persuasion. But facts don’t matter because facts never matter in politics. What matters is that Clinton’s framing of Trump provides moral cover for any bullying behavior online or in person. No one can be a bad person for opposing Hitler, right? Some Trump supporters online have suggested that people who intend to vote for Trump should wear their Trump hats on election day. That is a dangerous idea, and I strongly discourage it. There would be riots in the streets because we already know the bullies would attack. But on election day, inviting those attacks is an extra-dangerous idea. Violence is bad on any day, but on election day, Republicans are far more likely to unholster in an effort to protect their voting rights. Things will get wet fast. Yes, yes, I realize Trump supporters say bad things about Clinton supporters too. I don’t defend the bad apples on either side. I’ll just point out that Trump’s message is about uniting all Americans under one flag. The Clinton message is that some Americans are good people and the other 40% are some form of deplorables, deserving of shame, vandalism, punishing taxation, and violence. She has literally turned Americans on each other. It is hard for me to imagine a worse thing for a presidential candidate to do. I’ll say that again. As far as I can tell, the worst thing a presidential candidate can do is turn Americans against each other. Clinton is doing that, intentionally. Intentionally. As I often say, I don’t know who has the best policies. I don’t know the best way to fight ISIS and I don’t know how to fix healthcare or trade deals. I don’t know which tax policies are best to lift the economy. I don’t know the best way to handle any of that stuff. (And neither do you.) But I do have a bad reaction to bullies. And I’ve reached my limit. I hope you have too. Therefore… I endorse Donald Trump for President of the United States because I oppose bullying in all its forms. I don’t defend Trump’s personal life. Neither Trump nor Clinton are role models for our children. Let’s call that a tie, at worst. The bullies are welcome to drown in their own bile while those of us who want a better world do what we’ve been doing for hundreds of years: Work to make it better while others complain about how we’re doing it. Today I put Trump’s odds of winning in a landslide back to 98%. Remember, I told you a few weeks ago that Trump couldn’t win unless “something changed.” Something just changed.

So basically, everyone who disagrees with you (which is just about everyone but Kiki) is bullying you? I think you have the definition messed up. What would you call this? SIGNYM: “And if you really DON'T believe that idea, why do you keep masturbating to it? I mean, you remind me of nothing so much as a group 9-year-olds doing a circle jerk.” SIGNYM: “Another one just joined the stupid club” SIGNYM: “I'm going to add SECONDRATE to the crazy-bus. “She…” SIGNYM: “That's you- a dupe.” SIGNYM: “What the hell is wrong with you? How can you be such a big asshole and even imagine that you're an OK kind of person?” SIGNYM: “Oh bullshit, you pile of human excrement." SIGNYM: “Basically, you've got your collective head stuck up your collective liberal asses.” SIGNYM: “I DO consider the source, and you're sewer-level. “ SIGNYM: “The lesson applies to you, you human shitstain. Up the maturity level yourself. Discuss the topic, not the people.” SIGNYM: “Yanno GSTRING - you piece of used toilet paper - I have NOT YET reached YOUR TOTAL of snark, insults, and trolling that you've managed to put up here in this board.” Hater much? Troll much? Here's what I will do: - quit this forum? Never. - post in threads you've started? Gonna pass on that. - call you out in someone else's thread where you lie? Whenever I can.

Quote:Originally posted by second: Ford never did what Trump said Ford did. Trump voters who get their news from Trump will be receiving false news. Ford pointed that out last year, but it didn’t stop Trump. If Trump voters would google this from the Detroit News, they might suddenly know that Trump is either a deeply disturbed man or a conman. www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/ford/2015/10/26/ford-canceling-mexican-plans-despite-trump/74617558/ Trump — who is leading the Republican presidential field in some polls — cited a factually incorrect story from an obscure blog called “Printly” on Sunday and reiterated it today. It’s not clear whose behind the site that only went up a few months ago. “Do you think I will get credit for keeping Ford in U.S. Who cares, my supporters know the truth. Think what can be done as president,” Trump wrote in one tweet that was retweeted and favorited 6,000 times. “Word is that Ford Motor, because of my constant badgering at packed events, is going to cancel their deal to go to Mexico and stay in U.S.,” Trump wrote in another tweet. Trump voters should know that the actual amount of time it took to find this story by googling “ford closing factories” was 30 seconds. If Trump voters don’t have two minutes to read the story, they will be cheated by Trump.
