America loves a winner!

Full disclosure.

I'm not a comic book person. Maybe bought a few when I was 9-10 yrs old, but I was more into running around outside and such. Last comics / graphic novels I bought were the Better Days series, over 10 years ago. Mainly bought those out of sentiment too, not so much because I collet comics.

Even so, this is truly unreal. Gary, below, is a true comic book guy. He lives in San Francisco, the meccca of wokeness and SJW banner waving. Gary owned a comic book store for 10 years... he's not liking any of this.

A lot of artists at all the comic book publishers just got the "Pencils Down" order. That means do not finish the book you're working on, do not even finish the box you were working on.

Huge layoffs coming.

I'd tell them to all learn to code, but let's be honest... all those jobs already got shipped overseas already.

Learn to live on minimum wage after the stimulus is exhausted and the unemployment benefits run out. Either that or starve I guess.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

This and the Beerbug is the death of Marvel, parent company Disney isn't going to have the $ to keep them a float when this is over. It's going to take years for the entertainment industry to recover from this, they're likely NOT going to throw $ at woke crap they know won't make money. They're not going to have the disposable $ to make crap to keep the woke dimwits quiet. We're going to be the people with all the power when this is over, they already know now we can live without them. Look at the late night talk jerkoffs, they've become 2nd rate youtubers, they're doing their lame shows from their basements. Without an audience and a fawning media they're hollow, and they're going to have to keep doing their shows from their basements until late April or May. When this is over the entertainment industry will begging us for our $ and attention.

Meanwhile, people like Ethan Van Skiver are making a lot of books that people love and they're killing it on the crowdfunding scene.

I haven't bought a comic book in 25 or more years, but I'm kind of sad I missed that boat. I might have been watching some of these guys making history, and it would have probably been a wise move to spend a little bit and invest in a few issue #1s.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
