Michael's fellow burn buddy seems like a likely candidate, and I'm not sure I'd like to see that.

Not digging the new guy. Sam needs to stay. His humor is a huge part of the appeal of the show, and Jesse just doesn't offer that.

Bruce seems to really like doing the show. Or, at least, that how it seems from the little video clips I've seen via Facebook.

I think they just wanted to throw some confusion in the mix. How long could they keep up the same formula and keep it fresh?

Having this new guy in there mucks up the works and bonds the other three closer.

Sooner or later, this new guy is going to find out Michael is the one who burned him and that will make for interesting viewing.

I'm a fan of the show, but they lose Sam/Bruce, and I doubt I'll watch it much.

Really don't like the new guy, but I think that is intended, and that the writing is setting him up to be Michael's nemesis by season's end, for getting him burned!

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

I agree with some of the points that have been made.

He's there mainly to change the dynamic of the main cast, to muck things up a bit. All shows add new members after awhile to stop things from drying up. In this case we have a good guy done bad by Michael who will eventually find out the truth and then we'll have to see what happens as to whether he'll remain a regular or not.

The show became popular partly because of the dynamic between the four leads so I think it's fairly safe to say that the only way one of the cast will leave is if they want to. At least IMO.

I actually don't mind the guy but that's mainly because I know he has to find out and am really interested to see it play out between Michael and Jesse.
