America loves a winner!

While not exactly new, a very fascinating show on the biggest bad that walked the Earth, T.Rex. It shows that T.Rex is even more closely related to birds, and that young Rex's might have even sported downy feathers. Also interesting, to me, at least, is the re-classification of T.Rex into the Infraorder Coelurosauria , and not Carnosauria , which is where Allosaurus is found. But the most amazing news, is what was found inside the leg bone of a T.Rex. A scientist noted certain characteristics with in the bone which she identifies immediatly, as she's seen something like this before - in female birds who are pregnant. Seems when pregnant, there are tell tale signs which appear in the bones of female birds. So, they've been able to positively 'sex' a dinosaur, which is kinda cool. But better still, when they try to 'de-mineralize' the bone, in an attempt to study it further, they indeed find the impossible. What remained is a stretchy,
cartilage like fiber which containes blood vessles and actual cells , nuclei included, of the T.Rex.

" Hello? Is this Jurassic Park ? "

Who knows, by 500 yrs in the future, Wash maybe could have visited a real Jurassic Park, as a child. He likely was playing w/ the very dino toys which came from the JP gift shop!

Or not. Either way, I find this stuff to be insanely interesting.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "
