On the Sereni-Tree's hanger deck:

In a vac suit in an evacuated hanger, TheRealMe stands ready with Sparky the Robot by his side.

From the bridge, Quincey's voice comes through the speaker in his helmet: "The Admiral Nelson just lifted off of Reaverworld."

"Thank you, Bride5. Send them a signal to use that shuttle's shrinking tech."

"Yep, they just did."

TheRealMe reaches out with his hand, and a spot of light appears. It grows until it is a ring of fire the height of a tall person, surrounding a black void. From this hole in reality pops the shrunken Admiral Nelson. The RealMe grabs it and puts it in a particular spot on the hanger deck. Then he steps back.

Inside the shuttle, Wisp presses a control and the shuttle enlarges to its full size.

TheRealMe collapses the dimensional portal and then touches some controls on the sleeve of his suit to repressurize the hanger. "Everyone accounted for? Good! Great job everyone!"

Before long, the shuttle doors open, the Reaver-raiders file out, and Sparky collects the repair parts. TheRealMe checks them off on a list he is carrying. "Well, that's all of them. Sparky, please get those to Bride4 in engineering. Have her signal when they are installed and we are ready for a jump."

Meanwhile, far behind the Sereni-Tree over Reaverworld, a titanic burst of light flashes as a rift opens to another reality. Out of this rift drops a human body that had been subjected to the trials and terrors of the exotic realm of hyperspace for weeks.

She is not happy.

In Sereni-Tree Main Engineering:

Jet plugs in the last component, does a few checks, and everything comes up green lights. She reaches over to press a control on the console. "Quincey? Jump drive is online!"

Over the intercom, Quincey's voice booms throughout the ship. "Attention! All hands! Prepare for Jump!"

Then a shudder runs through Sereni-Tree and the ship is thrown into hyperspace.

TheRealMe reaches for his own com-link and keys it. "Okay, everyone! We are out of the Reaverworld system for a week in hyperspace! Time to party! Oh, and Bride4, Bride5, when the maneuver drive is online, please reduce our velocity with respect to normal space. "
