Judging by DragonCon this year, it seems that the Atlanta area has a sizable and active Browncoat community. I was just wondering how many fans were in the Savannah/South Georgia area. I had expected to see quite a bigger turn out opening night of the movie and was rather disappointed.

Columbus, Georgia browncoat here. Converted more than 20 people to becoming fans of the series. Most of them joined me on the night SERENITY debuted and we were all shocked at the low turn-out...

I also was one of the lucky few who got a ticket for one of the advanced screenings in Atlanta, back in May. I had to bite my tongue and not reveal any spoilers to my friends for months and months. It almost killed me, especially when one of my best friends walked in to see SERENITY with me, saying that Wash was his favorite character - me, already knowing what was going to happen to him.
