ok, so I finally caved and created a livejournal account.

The problem is I don't know what the hell to do. I want to add a header but I have no clue how to do that.

Also how do you add images to posts and all that jazz.

Can anyone help a complete novice out?

i could show you and you know, point to the screens and stuff, but the don't help on the other end of the computer. I think i managed it by pressing random links until it started me on the trail. look for 'profile' and 'themes/appearance'. I'm pretty sure you set the title and headers etc when you sign up - look for a link to settings or something.

This being a website full of smart people I'm sure someone will answer you soon and give you some real help. if not I'll have a look at my account and see what i did - can't tonight though.
