| Brenda: Well, sometimes you have to bite the bullet on buying new things. My mouse has a roller on top but I don't use it. I make enough mistakes on my own I don't need any help. |
| Brenda: Okay. At least what snow you got will melt. There's storm coming down from eastern Canada that the weather people say will dump snow on New York state and farther down. |
6ixStringJack: I really need a new mouse. This ancient thing was awesome, but the buttons are so jenky now. I'm having a hard time giving it up though becuase it's a specialty mouse with the ball on top and buttons all around it, and it doesn't appear I can even buy it anymore. I'm sure I can buy something similar, but I've had this thing for so long it's going to be like getting used to driving a new car after you finally junked the old one you've been driving for 12 years. If I'm not double-posting because of the site being jenky, it's because of my mouse. |
| 6ixStringJack: Yeah. I guess the lake effect was real weird last night, and that was to my benefit. The weather people were saying that the lake effect snow went further away from the lake than they'd ever seen it drift before, and somehow even though I'm closer to the lake, there were cities south of me getting slammed with a foot and a half of snow while I probably only ended up with 5 or 6 inches max. It's not melting at all yet, but it should start by noon tomorrow and it will all be gone by Friday. |

| Brenda: Yes, you must always respect power tools. But I was just using a paring knife that I use for veg. This brussels were a little on the tough side hence the cutting of my thumb twice. Double post is my fault. Thought I hadn't hit tag it but I did.
|
| Brenda: No the cut isn't. It bleed some but stopped almost immediately. I did something similar a few days ago and I was again sorting out brussel sprouts for supper. That I thought I had just bruised my thumb. It wasn't till a few days later that I realized that I cut myself. It didn't bleed and I couldn't see the cut.

| Brenda: That sounds good SIX. Warm and dry as winter rolls in is the best we can hope for. |
| Brenda: Ah, I've heard you talk about the lake effect before. Not sure I totally understand it. As long as the snow is melting that is good. |

| 6ixStringJack: And besides, it looks like Democrats finally caved and people can get their food stamps soon. Not sure if you heard the news yet. It's just as I predicted it would happen right after Tuesday's election. |
| 6ixStringJack: Keep that shit in the RWED, Screen Bitch. |

| 6ixStringJack: The trick is to always respect the Power Tools. That's why I still have all 10 of them. You can get away with being clumsy with the stabby tools and keep all your parts when it's done healing. |
6ixStringJack: Yikes. Hope the finger cut wasn't too bad. I've slashed and cut my hands up so bad over the years on various jobs so much I started saying that my days of being a hand model are over every time I do it. Cut them to the bone more than once, I did. |
6ixStringJack: As long as my power stays on I should stay warm no problem. Not really worrying about that since there's no real bad weather other than the cold snap and some minor wind. |
6ixStringJack: No... This isn't really even tied to any storm. It's more or less calm here otherwise with a little wind here or there. Just a weird lake effect thing that seems to be hitting everybody on the west and south side of Lake Michigan. Haven't had one of those for a long time, but usually we're not lucky enough to have temps in the 60's just a few days later to melt most of it. |
