Lovely style! Wish I could draw like that! Have you ever thought of selling limited edition prints of these to be signed at conventions etc.? I'd queue up for them! (I'm an obsessive collector!)

Cool Stuff! Reminds of 1950's Frazetta and you dont get higher praise than that! How do you do the shading?

Thanks for all the comments...as for the comic, that seems to be on hiatus for the time being.. I wasn't really happy with the way it came out (my line work was disappearing and such)...and work... and my tryout.. and some website drawings I promised.. all contributed to the status..I'll eventually get back to it, I hope...

I love how this captures the action, the determination, the feeling of the moment...how Mal focuses his concentration on something so precise in the midst of something so frenetic. Of course, we know he fails (at least as long as he's 'trying', instead of just 'doing'), but this drawing really brings forth that moment for me.

Definately one of my favorites of your comic style, which is well suited to this kind of more action-y subject than the soft sepias.

Oh - wow. I am not usually a fan of the comic style. But you captured Mal's eyes so well in this that they pretty much look right at you and grap you instantly and completely. Those ARE Mal's eyes. Not a fan of the comic style, but very much a fan of this one!

A 10 as usual. I am the last person to suggest something, but do you think the gun barrel is long enough? I'm thinking maybe a smidge longer, but what I know of art would barely cover one of those dots on your fine work.

If you don't have a job that pays lots of cashy-money for such talent, then Earth That Is ain't nearly fair enough to ya.

Mal looks like he's aiming right at me, wouldn't ever want to be on the wrong end of our Captain's gun. Keep flying.

So wait--is Mal supposed to be looking at the viewer or down the sights?
