Thanks, I'm working on a colored version..It's got kinda a pulp western feel to it..Kinda a relief from the dark gothic drawings I've been doing

I like it! Except Mal's foot just seems to disappear into the horse's underbelly. :-(

"I love my captain."

Mal's foot is in the stirrup..It should be a different color or lighter..thanks for pointing it out I seemed to have missed that...

RIVERGODDESS

Wow, this is really stunning! Great pose, and I love how you positioned Serenity in the background!

JOSSISAGOD

WOW M, will you ever cease to amaze! this is some of your best work yet! Not that your other work wasn't amazing but, I should just shut up and admire a master!

MISSTRESSAHARA

I see I wasn't the only one who noticed the horse. Mal looks so much preetier than TLR, and he'd treat Tonto a hell of a lot better. Hi Ho Serenity... away.

GEEKUSA

I remember hearing horses were one of the harder things to draw (or animate, maybe). Gotta admit, that's one of the best dynamic shots of a horse I've ever seen.

Do you have a DeviantArt account? If you don't you should. Spread the Firefly love to all those other artists out there. Hell, if you wanted to I bet you could make prints and sell them.

BLUEEYEDBRIGADIER

Way too cool pic, M...though I do have one tiny critique (ducking before BSR mob pelts me with Fruity Oaty Bars): The lighting effect on Mal's face kinda makes me think the head's from a shot where there's a lot more direct lighting from artificial sources and rest's is another pic. But then again, I could be nuts;)

Oh...and Mal on a white steed? Would have thought him preferable to a darked haired mount....but it works:)

The Serenity in the background is dead on. Looks great. Mal on the horse looks super too, but that ship is perfect.

CANTONHEROINE

That's truly spectacular!
It's a very difficult thing to merge elements from different sources - you make it look easy.
