Simon paced the hallway. Mechanic inside tinkering.
Was it worth the trouble? To feel the softness of those lips. The tenderness behind them. The eagerness awaiting him. To taste of the girl he loved.
Simon opens the door. Kaylee slides out from under the engine. Stands up. Smiles. Eyes wide.
He stands there for a moment. Then steps forward. For the tenderness and eagerness. For the softness. For the taste.
Was it worth the trouble? Yes.
