Wee hoo! a comic!! :) SO excited!

On a side/techincal note, I was a bit thrown off by the view of the last panel (crossing the 180 degree line in film)..the angle just seemed a bit wonky. Nothing major though. :) Just sat and stared at it a while wonderin' how the "camera" moved from panel 2 to 3 :)...the curse of being a filmmaker. LOL

The axis rule should be applied to comics as well. In fact comics can really be considered storyboards of a moving picture.

But something like a comic strip doesn't have the leisure of obeying by the rules of point of axis or shot sequences as they only have limited space to tell their story.

Very good. I've been looking at your drawings lately. Have you ever thought about going into comic book drawing? You definitely have a talent.

Ok you all are right about the last panel.. Originaly there was another panel between the second and third of wash talking making a four paneled daily strip, However that panel got ruined and I had to cut it out. I didn't realize how wierd that would make it.
I'll see about the rest..thanks cor the comments..

Blueishbrowncoat:

I don't see anay camera movement other than a zoom on Mal between pannel 2 and 3.

Mall goes from sleeping head to the left to a sitting position and leaning to the right in standing up as the ladder is off to the right so he would need to go that way to get to the bridge...

He sleeps with pants on (Mentioned specificaly in the Serenity novel and seen briefly in the movie when Inara calls) so that's not the blanket you see around his legs wich may have caused confusion and led to thinking the camera had somehow tracked around behind Mal.

Missing a pannel between 2 and 3 to show a midpoint to both Mals motion and the zoom itself makes it a bit hard to figure out what took place as the zoom on Mal cuts out a lot of the frame of refrence except for the wall spars behind him as seen in pannel 2 above his torso.

Er... At least that's how I see it anyway. ;)

BTW: is the next strip "Someone accessed the cortex. I blocked the signal, but I don't know how much made it out."

But then again, according to the movie:
-Can't block the signal...

Hmm... Interesting.
