Sarahetc Stories: Episode 5
Thursday, February 13, 2003

The adventures of Sarahetc continues as she battles her way free from an angry mob.

“I must…. I must finish my fanfic stories!” Sarahetc cried. She realized that the office workers were gathering against her. Her boss lay dead on the floor, his neck twisted gruesomely, and Betty, the receptionist screamed. Someone nearby yelled, “Hey, the boss is dead! Get her!”

Chaos erupted, and Sarahetc became a blur of violent motion. Leaping onto her desk, she kicked fiercely at the mob of office workers that suddenly surrounded her. She spun gracefully, a deadly whirlwind of broken fingers and noses. There are so many of them! In no time, a pile of people lay dead or unconscious around her, but others kept pouring in from down the hall. Larry from accounting charged angrily into the room, wielding a large Swingline stapler. He threw it with surprising accuracy, but Sarahetc caught it and flung it back in single, fluid motion. The heavy stapler caught Larry right between the eyes, and he fell with a loud grunt. Kick, duck, kick, spin... Can’t…keep…this…up...much...longer.... Sarahetc found herself panting with exhaustion, but the bloodthirsty mob showed no sign of giving up. “She can’t get out now! We have her!” a woman yelled. Is that Mary, my assistant? Don’t think, just keep fighting! Her desk was slick with blood, and Sarahetc suddenly slipped as she tried a backwards spin kick against Big Olga, the cafeteria chef. She felt a strong hand grab her ankle. There’s too many of them! She kicked and twisted furiously, but Big Olga held firmly and did not let go. With a cry, Sarahetc fell hard onto the desk. She gasped for breath. A heartbeat later, Big Olga pulled her to the floor and the mob was upon her.

drifting…the beating sun…beating down on me…like a heart, over and over. hot. a bright day, too bright, the beating sun, too bright to fly... need a dark place to sleep. tired. cannot fly, cannot keep flying... “keep flying!” calls a voice.. . “sarahetc, get up!” The voice is stern, familiar. filled with urgency. she fights the voice, ignores it. angry. longing for the dark sleep. “keep flying! sarahetc, come back to us….” the voice is insistent, demanding. rude. tugging her up into the sky….sarahetc, get up! we can help you, but you must escape! trust me…. GET UP! GET UP!”

“Get up!” Sarahetc screamed hoarsely. “Get up!” She tried to move, but could not. She tasted blood. Lots of blood. How long have I been unconscious? I feel shitty...

She awoke to a nightmare. Big Olga held her tight, while an old man she didn’t recognize fumbled with the button of her pants. He gave her a friendly, grandfatherly smile, and slowly pulled down her zipper. Oh my god. She could hear the office workers cheering in the background. Big Olga shifted heavily onto her chest, and Sarahetc coughed helplessly. Strangled by two of the biggest boobs I’ve ever seen in my life. The only proof that Olga’s not a man. This is a bad dream. Please God, if I ever get out of this, I’ll write a story that kills everyone on Serenity, I promise. Get up!

Sarahetc fought with renewed vigor. She lashed out with her legs and managed to kick the old man in the back of the head. He slumped into Olga, knocking the big woman momentarily off balance. Her left knee is weak. Hurt her there. Without questioning the voice in her head, Sarahetc twisted her arm free and struck Olga’s left knee with her elbow. “MOTHER OF THOR! OW!” Big Olga roared. The heavy woman fell to her side, cradling her left leg. To Sarahetc’s surprise, Olga began sobbing. “My leg! It’s broken! Help me!" "Shut up, you big bitch!" Sarahetc muttered. She rolled free and climbed to her feet. I’m bad off, but I don’t think anything’s broken. Then the room started to spin, and she fell to her knees and vomited on the old man lying beside her. Finally, at least something’s going right. Who is that old bastard, trying to get into my pants? She spat on him. Blood, vomit and mucus dribbled down his pointy chin. Sarahetc studied his face, certain she had never met him before.

With a weary moan, she rose unsteadily and turned to face the frenzied office mob. They approached, jabbering excitedly and hungry for blood. Sarahetc bowed her head in surrender and waited for her inevitable death.

Is this the end for Sarahetc? Tune in for Episode VI, coming soon.....

I can't wait for the next Sarahetc episode to come out. Thanks for entertaining us Succatash. Your "dream sequence" reminds me a bit of the style used by Jennifer Roberson in the Cheysuli Chronicles. Very expressive. I may have to take on the challenge of a fanfic. It kinda looks fun to try.

Sarah, don't worry, I know Succatash, and I know that he was not implying anything unseemly with this story. He is a good-natured fellow.

Having reread it, my favorite part is definitely all the kung-fu.

He's a good natured fellow and too smart for his own good.

I sense The Matrix...or is that just me. That's what the fighting reminded me of anyway...
