Good God, Phillips, you're insanely talented. This is your best likeness of Jayne yet. Do you do commissions?

Damn you're good. Your inking is very nice, very fluid and not rushed.

I'll ask again, since you apparently didn't notice the first time.
Phillips, do you have a website or something where you display other art, unrelated to Firefly? I can only assume you must work on other things, and I'd love to see it.

Nope I'm new to posting stuff on the internet or anywhere for that matter. I've done some amature comic stuff, but nothing for publication. Sent some stuff to Marvel and DC in the eighties but was turned down flat. So I let my art slide for about ten years , Then was injured about two years ago and got laid up for eight months with a knee injury and got back into art to pass the time... lots of practice later here I are. Thanks for the interest.

Man, you captured Jayne to a "T" I commented on you earlier Inara and Kalee, however, I can not and would not make a negative on this piece of ART. Man you are good I can just se him standing on the catwalk shooting down on the cargo area.

Y'all see the man hangin out of the spaceship with the really big gun?

Very good rendering of Jayne, even though it says it was quick it looks like it took time to do.

You might be getting tired seeing me making these comments over and over, I have to say in this one what you captured perfectly, besides his look, is the anger and disgust at having to come back and get the doctor and his moonbrained sister. So brilliant, and as for a comic, as I said I know of a site that gives out grants, I'll get that site to you soon. If anime geeks can put out so many of the same monotonous stuff (no offence to any) then you can certainly capture a market, and maybe bring back classic style to the comic genre. Nuff said. Awesome work AGAIN. Love the flare. Fireflyfanforever.
