BWAH! The Firefly Cardgame
Wednesday, January 5, 2005

A new twist on the popular card game BANG! by Mayfair Games/daVinci Games. The last 3 months designing and playtesting the game, and now all that is left to do is get it printed on something more than computer paper. See my blog ( http://www.fireflyfans.net/showprofile.asp?un=TenthCrewMember ) for more info. Courtesy of your friends at BLUE SUN games...BLUE SUN, makers of stuff you need.

Don't know why it posted me Anon...

so while I am here again, I could point out that *if* I wanted to be like the Gorram Alliance, I could send you a "free" copy, you just pay $15 S&H and I make a profit on the "Services" of mailing you a "free" game. Instead, I chose to be upfront and honest about it.
So, not being nasty, just being clear about why I am doing it this way. Again, hope that clarifies.

Thanks!

That was me (same "Anonymous mystery here). No nastyness implied, intended or taken. I think its a great idea! Just the selling of it bothers me.

I have the ability to print the cards myself -- and I also have the ability to make them look more attractive (my opinion) - not that they don't look fine as is. But I'd actually prefer to do that job myself, so paying for your "services" is a waste of my money and your efforts. I'm more interested in the rules than the materials, which I might want to personalize.

P.S. I'd be interested in developing it further with you, and adding a more artistic style to the cards, if you're open to that. I won't even charge you. :)

will you be allowing people to download this to get it printed them selfs?

I would surgest that, saves you money ^_^

Could someone give me an URL to where i can find info on that "BANG!" game you said this was based off?

Dirx:

actually after the headaches I've had this week trying to get an "acceptable" (in terms of quality) copy printed, I am reconsidering posting it for download, though in doing so will probably mean no fancy backs on the cards for most people, which I guess is okay...I was trying to do something special but the large cesspool of incompetence of printers in my area is almost mindboggling (IMHO).

As for a link...

You could always Just Put in an image file of the backs, like work out the number of cards that will fit on an A4 Bit of Cardboard/paper, and make an image (Fliped/reversed/whatever) of the backs images so people just need to put the paper/whatever they use, back into their printer, thus, double sided cards ^_^...Did that make Any sence?

Woot! Great - we are all waiting with bated breath. Glad you are saving yourself some headaches this way as well. :)

I'm up for helping produce another card or board game with you too!

Joss Whedon BWAH! card - FFF.net re-release
Updated with the new link for my Firefly games, the original was only available to those who attended a special advanced screening of Serenity in Cincinnati, but now everyone can have one! I've tagged it with the FireflyFans.net addy as well to identify it as the new copy.

Visit the link on the card to download any and all games I've developed, available for FREE, as always, to all my fellow Browncoats. Thanks for carrying me all these years. :) You guys are the finest bunch of Rubens in the 'verse.

HAPPY INDEPENDENTS DAY!
A variant, again, because I can. Share it if you like it :)

HAPPY INDEPENDENTS DAY!
Because I could. :)

Captain Castle
A fellow Browncoat, goes by Watcho, was telling me how her sister was now watching Firefly because of Nathan Fillion in Castle. She retorted with "He was my Captain before he was your Castle", and lo, a new design was born in that moment. You can find this design in the old TCM SPACE BAZAAR at: http://www.cafepress.com/10thcrew/743568 or, if you're handy with an iron, as your legend tells, print it out and iron it on your own self. Enjoy!

Apples to Griswolds
Been out of the (game making) world a while, but I got a request late last year from a very dear friend, so I am making it a reality for them...and you! This is just the teaser. And there will be at least be at one rule in my version there isn't in the original Apples to Apples game. All I'll say is there'll be a little...*pop* ;)

Also, at the behest of fans, both past and current, I'm only doing this up in grayscale in order to go easy on printing because there'll be A LOT of cards, and I don't want to eat up folks' printer ink.

Firefly Valentines (blast from the past)
More of the same, only different. ;)

Firefly Valentines (blast from the past)
Dug these up, made 'em years back. Sharing again for you!
