BLUE SUN ROOM FILK
A poem I wrote a while ago, which I can imagine River writing at a very early age. 6 or 7, perhaps?
CATEGORY: FILK TIMES READ: 2887 RATING: 9 SERIES: FIREFLY
I've heard everyone is different.
We all change the world somehow
And though we don't always smile
We just shrug the bad things off and
Get on with our lives.
Some people don't like change
'Though its the reason we're still here
And everyone IS different
Even if they don't want to be.
Normal. A concept I don't understand
Something which people strive for
Even though there's no such thing
People like the concept.
'Though most never follow through
They leave it to authorities
In vain hope that it won't affect them
But it always does.
Because we're all the same in some ways
All differences are slight
And one by one we're realising
That we need to hold on tight.
A/N: Eventually to be used in a fanfic I'm working on. :)
