Back and with one hell of a vengeance here, Mike;D

Your skill continues to inspire awe and jealousy in me, I have to admit. If I didn't know this was art created from scratch, I would swear you diddled with a screen shot;)

The drawing is good as usual, but in all honesty: Without the texture of the paper it suddenly feels too smooth for me. On the other hand, the linework comes out very clear and the white highlights look amazingly soft.

Wow :) I love it! It always makes my day big time when you have a new Mal posted, Mike! I can't stop staring at this, or marvelling at how your drawings have this ability to enhance the emotional impact of a scene without altering or changing it in the least. In your drawing, this goes from a brief, entertaining moment on screen to a set of gorgeous character studies.

I love the amount of texture in this.....the softness gives the whole thing a beauty, both the drawing and the characters. And what you do with eyes never fails to amaze me. That's where most art, even very good stuff, tends to fail. The eyes are rarely "just right" to capture humanity and character on paper.....but you do it in spades. I've never felt I could look into the eyes of a drawing and see a person look back at me before I saw your work.

Absolutely brilliant! You have once again captured the essence of both characters so masterfully that I am in awe. Wonderful work, Ali D :~)

Oh, oh, only just saw this! Fantastic way to start my day!

And almost (well, a little bit) Mal flesh. More, please? (Mal, I mean ... well, I would!)
