BLUE SUN ROOM FILK

MARCHINGBAND

under the hot sun
Monday, February 26, 2007

You know I'm never sure were my stories/poems come from. Maybe they're brought by a stork?

CATEGORY: FILK    TIMES READ: 1758    RATING: 9    SERIES: FIREFLY

Life isn't as easy as they said it would be

It's true they never listened to me

But I could never talk completely openly

under the hot sun

Sweat trickled down my neck

As I delivered swift death

All around are the screams of those who were left

under the hot sun

Even at night the noise doesn't sees

to much pain for those who can't sleep

We are not at all as we seem

under the hot sun

They say time heels that hurts

but I don't think that will happen on the dirt

They'll take away my work

under the hot sun

Damn...this is both brilliant and quite Mal-like in POV, MarchingBand! And that makes this just shiny:D
